Deep Fried Banana

Hello banana lovers, I have a perfect desert for you. Deep fried banana! I need to say that I don’t like sweets and not fresh fruit. Before when I tried grilled banana I didn’t like it. I took a tea spoon and skeptically tried one piece and I was surprised how tasty it is. This desert is quick and easy. Also if you are tired of classic desert and you want to try something new and special now you have the best opportunity 🙂

Ingredient for 1-2 people:

– 4 young bananas (or sweet potato)
– 200 g. coconut meat
– 1 tsp. sesame seed
– 1 tsp. sugar
– 100 g. rice flour
– 50 g. wheat flour
– ½ cup water
– 1 ½ cup oil to frying

Usually they will give you only fried bananas without any side order. But my personal opition is to serve with coconut ice cream!


1. Remove the banana peel
2. Cut the banana lengthwise into 3 pieces each
3. Mix the rice flour, wheat flour, water, salt, sugar, coconut meat and sesame seed together
4. Put the banana in and mix together
5. Deep fry in plenty of oil over a medium heat until golden

Tips: you must choose the banana that is not too old because the old banana will stick to the wok when deep fry.
